The Palace Gala, "Ovations", honoring Kennedy Center award winner Dave Brubeck, will be held Thursday, April 29th. This cool evening of jazz will benefit Stamford Center for the Arts Summer 2010 Arts Infusion Education Program. The Gala Cocktail Party will begin at 6:00 at The Palace Theatre with entertainment by Kelly Mittleman, acclaimed Stamford jazz artist. Jazz legend Dave Brubeck will perform with The Dave Brubeck Quartet at a benefit concert on the Palace stage starting at 8:00 pm. Brubeck will be the first recipient of the Stamford Center for the Arts Legacy Award presented that evening.
